A commission from FA that I LOVE. I'm a huge musical fan so this was a delight to get to make. This is, in case you don't know, Audrey Two (Twoie) from Little Shop of Horrors. If you haven't seen it before, I highly suggest it! I really liked the yellow bit on these ones, usually I suck at gradients. But those weren't too bad at all!

With stud earrings it seems you glue the back to the clay? I usually put clay over it and imbed it in the clay but that leaves less room for it on the ear. What do you suggest?

I've done both over time, the design on this one and the chain chomp, I use glue, on a few of my other stud designs like toothless and TMNT, I embed it. For me it depends on the design, it's easier to glue it on for Audrey because of the angle I have to have it at and how easy it is to mess up the clay if I do that on a more complex design like this.
