Nearly All the Care Bears

I spent a really long time working on this, and I’m pretty darn proud of it. I think the Care Bears have been a part of my life since before even Pokemon and I can’t say for SURE, but I can say that the message of being nice and being open-hearted probably played a role in my ideals and personality to this day. I watched it a lot, that’s for sure.

I collected the plush of them as one of my very first collections as a kid. I got a Care Bear collectors newsletter and learned a little back then about item rarity and such. I feel like it might be a nice way to engage my optimism and such, even if it’s pretty sappy. So I made a tumblr ask blog for classic Dic/Nelvana Care Bears. Follow it if you want? Missing: Playful Heart Monkey, Birthday Bear, Loyal Heart Dog, and Harmony Bear

Basically I choose those four to be excluded for specific reasons, Playful is excluded because I just don't like Monkeys and Playful annoyed me XD Birthday because he seemed too one note for what I'm using them for. Having a Bear just for Birthdays might be good for greeting cards, but not for general advice. Also didn't include Loyal Heart Dog and Harmony Bear, basically just because I had no ideas for them. I might add them later on if I happen to have ideas for them. But for now I think I drew a lot of them already XD
