4/4 of a special commission for someone on FA. This one was one of the most important sculptures I've made. Jizo are meant to be a symbol of guidance and benevolence for any sort of person, but they mean the most for the protection of children, especially those who have died before their parents. Jizo are said to help guide a soul to heaven. This is a sculpture for a child who died and I hope that my art gives even a slight comfort to his parents. I'm very happy with my work on this one and I'm at least happy to say that I did my very best.
Such a beautiful scuplture with a beautiful meaning.. great job
cute wolf is cute
MY GOD! SO CUTE! I WANT THOSE WINGS!
It's absolutely beautiful.
;____; the story behind this one is so beautiful!
oh I suppose I should say the Jizo itself is beautiful as well, because it so is ^^ I love the lyre!
Yeah I felt so moved when I heard this was for an actual couple who lost a child... I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't do a good enough job on it but I'm relieved it came out looking so nice. I'm really proud to have been asked to make something so important...
wow the detail is amazing!
